So when filtering and EQing the sample don’t quite do the trick to remove the drums, this technique can be huge life saver! In the cases when you’re slicing on the sample’s drum hits (kick, snare, etc), applying a quick attack to each sample slice can work wonders. I typically use an 8-band EQ in those special cases when I need to “dip out” or “cut off” other parts of the sample.
